1. Who we are

DoomSunder ("the app") is a trading name of Lakebridge Digital Studios Limited ("we", "us"), a company registered in England & Wales (company number 17374164), registered office 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. Contact: [email protected]. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 or over to use DoomSunder.

3. What DoomSunder does - and what it does not

DoomSunder is a self-control and digital-wellbeing tool. It monitors how long you spend in apps you choose, and when you exceed a limit you set, it shows a full-screen takeover with a short quest and may then temporarily lock that app.

It is a motivational aid, not a security or parental-control product. It does not use an Accessibility Service, does not block network traffic, and does not modify other apps. A committed user can always dismiss the overlay, change settings, or uninstall - by design. Lasting change comes from your own commitment, not a lock you cannot remove.

4. It is not foolproof

Android, device manufacturers and other apps can affect how reliably DoomSunder detects usage or shows its overlay - for example, aggressive battery optimisation may suspend the background service. We do not guarantee it will intercept or limit any particular app at any particular time. You remain responsible for your own choices and device use.

5. Subscriptions, trial, billing and cancellation

DoomSunder offers a 7-day free trial, after which a paid subscription is required to keep the guarding features active.

• Plans and pricing are shown in-app and on the Play listing. In the United Kingdom the plans are £3.99/month or £19.99/year, inclusive of VAT. Prices in other countries are set by Google Play in the local currency and will differ; the price shown to you at the point of purchase is the one that applies.
• Billing is handled by Google Play. Payment is taken at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. We never see or store your card details.
• Cancel any time in Google Play under Subscriptions. Cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current paid period. How to cancel →
• Free-trial eligibility is determined by Google Play and tied to your Google account; reinstalling does not grant a fresh trial.
• Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy and your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Nothing here removes your statutory rights.

6. If your subscription lapses

If your trial or subscription ends, DoomSunder enters a quiet "sleep" state: guarding features (takeovers, locks, curfew) stop, but your settings and data stay on your device and nothing is deleted. Resubscribe any time to resume guarding.

7. Licence and acceptable use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for its intended personal purpose. You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble the app except as permitted by law; not to resell or commercially exploit it; and not to use it unlawfully or in a way that harms others. The app, its artwork, characters (including "Sir Sunder"), audio and code remain the intellectual property of Lakebridge Digital Studios Limited.

8. Feedback

If you send feedback through the Rookery, you grant us the right to use it to improve DoomSunder with no obligation to you. Feedback is one-way and we never ask who you are - but the message is free text, so it carries nothing that identifies you unless you type it in yourself. Do not include personal or confidential information.

This version of the app has no usage-statistics feature and sends no usage data. If one is ever added it will be off by default and you will be asked inside the app before anything is sent. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all implied warranties, including merchantability, satisfactory quality, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will always be available, error-free, or achieve any particular outcome in reducing your screen time.

10. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Subject to that, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or £50 if you paid nothing). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit or revenue, loss of data, or any failure of DoomSunder to limit your usage of another app.

11. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update the app or these terms at any time. Material changes will be notified in-app or via the Play listing, and the "Last updated" date will reflect the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the law of England & Wales. You agree to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence.
