Frequently Asked Questions
What is DoomSunder?
DoomSunder is an app blocker with a knight in it. When you exceed a limit you set on a chosen app, Sir Sunder steps in with a quick quest, then locks that app away for a while so you can get on with your day. See how it works →
Free trial & pricing
DoomSunder comes with a 7-day free trial, after which it continues as a subscription. In the UK that's £3.99 a month or £19.99 a year, including VAT. You won't be charged during the trial, and you can cancel any time before it ends to avoid being billed. In other countries the price is set by Google Play in your own currency and will differ - the app and your Play Store basket always show what you'll actually pay before you confirm.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed through Google Play, so you cancel them in your Google account - not inside DoomSunder. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
On an Android phone or tablet:
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon (top right), then Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select DoomSunder.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the steps.
From a web browser: go to play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions, sign in, choose DoomSunder, and select Cancel.
To cancel during the free trial and avoid any charge, follow the same steps before the 7 days are up.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds for Play Store purchases are handled by Google under Google Play's refund policy, alongside your statutory rights under UK consumer law.
What does DoomSunder do with my data?
